A bit about Betty:
Canadian, female living in Victoria, BC Canada.

I was in the Ulpan Class at Kibbutz Ashdot Yaacov in 1973. I was in Israel two weeks before the Yom Kippur War started. We in the Ulpan worked very hard as volunteers once all the able bodied men were called up for service. It was an incredible experience.
