I stayed at Sha'hagolan in 1974. I was 23 years old. There's no doubt that I was searching for the meaning of life - the meaning of myself - the search for God. I made friends but mainly on a one to one basis. I have never really been a group type. Now I am almost 60 and starting to think back on the good times. Being a Kibutznic springs to mind.

I tell my two daughters that the history and the future of the world revolves around Israel. The older I get the more I believe it.
