A bit about peter:
Canadian, male living in montreal canada.
was one of first ever to be at Maoz and stay a year working in many places
the old man in the synagogue was my "'guru' while i was there. avshalom Arcobi is his name. i was 19 at the time and now i am 69. it seems like yesterday. my room mate and i still talk on the fone. he lives ramot naftali for the last 50 years . originally Moroccan. he is 75 now.
where have the years gone!!
peter's worldly wisdom:
Before you die you must... go to Maoz. look to the east , from near the cemetery that overlooked the Jordan Valley and ask, where will I be in 50 years and what do I want to do and then DO IT and never look back!!
that place is the place to think of the future like no other.
