A bit about Ian:
English, male living in Southampton United Kingdom.
Born: 18th August

Its nice to see people are still in touch.I knew the peace cafe well.I lived in Eilat 93-95 and was known as Bob.I worked and played and knew staz,interesting,mark,mr wilkes,tish,Dots,Penny,Billy,Scottish Pete,Digby,Aussie Pete,Rob,Simon,John(Blakey)Phil(wide mouth frog) and many more.left 95 and saw mark at manor farm in kent and then i slipped of the radar.I had a 2wk holiday here in 98 and met up with billy and squaddie again but the peace cafe was closed and soon to be a police station.Reena was gone from the hard luck too.In some ways it would be nice to have a reunion on the street but that may turn out to be one of lifes best intentions.I think it's fair to say,we had one hell of a good time most of the time.See you at the airport then.

Ian's message to the world:
I was in Eilat in 93-95 and worked mainly off the wall.I would like to chat with anyone but if you remember the odd squad of 95,not to be confused with the idiot squad (i was in Moshav Zofar then).To mark,i finished the Lost Ones mate.Sadly the manuscript was lost but people read it and and it helped them.A mate said after he read it he had thought he was the only one to get the horrors and have such memories.There were photo's of us in the Hard Luck in 1998 when i went back to Eilat for a holiday not many people remembered the people in the photo's on the wall of the Hard Luck.A vague and happy memory.Take care all.Keep well.I bought a new boat,a 1960's vintage william osborne motor boat and it's my new home.I've lived on boats since 2001 and very settled now.Sometimes i look back and wonder how i survived but the memories in Eilat are happy one's.There have been a few changes in my life.I don't drink alchohol any more(shock horror)and gave up the "nobblers" years ago.
