I left Astor and went to work at a very boring job by comparison. But now I'm retired (Sept 1, 2010) with a pension. Astor didn't have a pension plan, or I'd still be there.

Mike's message to the world:
30 years later, I still find myself doing things that I learned while working at Astor - like always having the Queen's head on the money in my wallet facing the same way (Flossie's nagging eventually took effect).

Mike's worldly wisdom:
Before you die you must... grow very old and cranky and fool people into thinking you are wise.

In 2010 I turned 60 and immediately RETIRED!!
In 2006 I moved to Nova Scotia.
In 2000 I finally quit smoking.
